Parade
Celebrate and unite our diverse community at Babylon Village Pride, held from the corner of Deer Park Avenue to Simon Street in Babylon, starting at 3 p.m. This year, the theme is “Somewhere Over the Rainbow!” For more information, visit prideofbabylon.org.

North Babylon Street Fair
It’s a return to tradition this Spring as the North Babylon Lions Club brings back the Annual North Babylon Street Fair onto Deer Park Avenue, Babylon, for the first time in six years! The quarter-mile-long event will stretch alongside North Babylon High School from Hale Road to Stone Avenue. Featuring 100 craft artisans, vendors, and food trucks! Admission is FREE. Rain date: June 8.

Fire Island Bear Weekend

Bay Shore Historical Society Annual Open House
The Bay Shore Historical Society will be hosting its Annual Open House at the historic Gibson-Mack-Holt House from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Featuring new exhibits, including the second-floor museum expansion, Bay Shore historical movie room, and historic tool shed. A public barbecue will be held at noon, with the Bay Shore Fire Department stopping by to display their historic vehicles. All are welcome!

Town of Islip Living History Day
Enjoy this interactive experience that explores the intriguing history of our town, featuring displays and programs from organizations that celebrate the town’s history, including the Sayville Farmers Market, Bayport Aerodrome, Islip Town Firefighters Museum, and more! Held at Islip Grange Park, Sayville, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Horseshoe Crab Program at The Lighthouse
Visit the Fire Island Lighthouse at 7 p.m. for a program focused on Horseshoe Crabs while watching them come ashore to lay their eggs! Suggested donation: $2 per person. The tower is open until 8 p.m. at regular fees. For details, visit fireislandlighthouse.com.

Women’s Pride in The Pines

Jr. Marine Biologist: Sea Explorers
Looking for a unique way to spend time with your preschooler? Join the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County for Marine Biologist programs, aimed for children 3-5 with their guardian.
