EVER AFTER

It has a sweet musical score with by Zina Goldrich and lyrics by Marcy Heisler. It is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall with her usual aplomb.The entire cast gives wonderful performances. Margo Seibert, last seen on Broadway as Adrian in the musical “Rocky,” is Danielle, our lovely voicedCinderella; James Snyder, who most recently starred in “If/Then” is the handsome and beautifully voiced Prince Henry. Two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole is the Baroness Rodmilla de Ghent, the wicked stepmother.Mara Davi and Annie Funke are the stepsisters. “The Nanny” star, Charles Shaughnessy and funny lady Julie Halston are King Francis and Queen Marie ofFrance, Prince Henry’s parents; and Tony Sheldon who exudes charm as LeonardoDa Vinci, the court painter and advisor and mentor to Prince Henry.It is a very pleasant evening.“Ever After” is playing at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey – just a short trip from New York City. The Broadway musicals “Newsies” and “Honeymoon in Vegas” had their world premieres at the Paper Mill before moving to Broadway.
